Hello, my name is Cathy. I'm curious, adventurous, and always up for a challenge. After retiring from a career spanning more than 45 years in restaurant operations and global technology, I now focus on pursuing goals and experiences that push my limits.

I love spending time outdoors in every season - from skiing in the winter to golfing and cycling in the warmer months. I'm a black belt in karate and am currently working toward earning my black belt in Kobudo within the next year.

Hello, my name is Tanya. I'm an artist, author, and adventure-seeker with a passion for personal growth and world travel. . I love exploring new places, trying new things, and saying yes to adventures—whether that’s a desert race or climbing Kilimanjaro.

I have a black belt in Taekwondo and Kobudo, yet I'm all about peace and love. I love spending time in nature and doing all kinds of sports (skiing, kayaking, tennis, etc). Spending time with friends and having a good laugh is one of my favorite things to do.

Finding ways to leave this world just a little bit better than how I found it is high on my priority list, and if I can do that while having a great time and some good laughs...well, all the better. Hence the reason I signed up for this adventure with my amazing navigator, Cathy.

Together, we’re taking on the Trophée Roses des Sables, a women-only humanitarian rally across the Moroccan Sahara.

We are raising $27,000 CAD to participate and support humanitarian organizations connected to the Trophée Roses des Sables, including:
- Enfants du Désert
- Ruban Rose
- The Children’s Breakfast Program
- Other partner associations supporting women and children
Every dollar donated to these charities helps change lives — one sandy kilometer at a time.
